What PostgreSQL versions are supported?

DataMCP works with PostgreSQL 12 and above, including hosted databases like Supabase, Neon, AWS RDS, Google Cloud SQL, and self-hosted instances.

Is my database connection string secure?

Yes. All connection strings are encrypted with AES-256-GCM at rest. We never store plaintext credentials. All connections use SSL/TLS.

Can AI tools modify my database?

Only if you allow it. You control permissions for each MCP link — read-only, read-write, or custom per-table access. You can restrict AI to SELECT-only queries.

What happens if I exceed my plan limits?

You won't lose access to existing connections. You simply won't be able to add new ones until you upgrade or remove existing connections.

Can I cancel anytime?
