Cookie Policy

Last updated: April 7, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how DataMCP LLC ("DataMCP," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit or use our platform at dashboard.datamcp.app, api.datamcp.app, and datamcp.app (collectively, the "Service").

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, to provide a better user experience, and to supply information to the site owner. Cookies may be "session" cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (remaining on your device for a set period or until you delete them).

Cookies We Use

Essential Cookies

These cookies are strictly necessary for the Service to function and cannot be disabled.

  • Supabase Auth cookies. Used to manage your authentication session, maintain your logged-in state, and securely identify your account. These cookies are set by Supabase and are essential for accessing protected areas of the Service. They include session tokens and CSRF protection tokens.
  • Stripe cookies. When you interact with payment forms, Stripe may set cookies to facilitate secure payment processing, detect fraud, and maintain your payment session. These are necessary for completing transactions.

Analytics Cookies

These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the Service so we can improve it.

  • PostHog cookies. We use PostHog for product analytics. PostHog may set cookies or use local storage to assign an anonymous identifier to your session, track page views, feature usage, and session duration. PostHog data is used solely to improve the Service and is not shared with third parties for advertising purposes.

Functional Cookies

These cookies remember your preferences and choices to provide a more personalized experience.

  • Theme preference. We may store your light/dark mode preference in local storage or a cookie so it persists across visits.
  • Sidebar and UI state. We may store user interface preferences (e.g., sidebar collapsed state) in local storage for convenience.

Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies on our Service are set by third-party providers that we use to deliver specific functionality. These providers include:

  • Supabase(auth.supabase.co) — Authentication session management.
  • Stripe(js.stripe.com) — Payment processing and fraud prevention.
  • PostHog(us.posthog.com or eu.posthog.com) — Product analytics.

We do not use any advertising cookies or tracking pixels. We do not use Google Analytics.

Managing Cookies

You can control and manage cookies in several ways:

  • Browser settings. Most browsers allow you to view, manage, and delete cookies through their settings. Consult your browser's help documentation for instructions.
  • Do Not Track. If you enable "Do Not Track" in your browser, PostHog analytics will respect this signal and will not track your activity.
  • Disable non-essential cookies. You can block analytics cookies through your browser settings without affecting the core functionality of the Service.

Please note that disabling essential cookies (Supabase Auth, Stripe) will prevent you from logging in and using the Service.

Cookie Retention

  • Supabase Auth cookies: Expire when your session ends or after the configured session duration (typically 1 hour for access tokens, with automatic refresh).
  • PostHog cookies: Persist for up to 1 year.
  • Stripe cookies: Persist for the duration of the payment session.
  • Preference cookies: Persist until manually cleared by you.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when this policy was last revised.
